"Oh, th-that's probably good. It m..makes you look kinder." With no real structural justice system in the Hollowed Grounds, Sam didn't have much of an opinion on the correct ways to treat prisoners, but not having executions was probably a better way to transition into lawfulness from a town of thieves. At least it seemed like Sunjata was being smart rather than ruthless, and the two often contradicted.
Sam couldn't help the little bit of jealous wondering in his mind; if Nate had fussed over Sunjata like a concerned lover, if he had cried to see his skin marred: all things he'd once thought would be his with Nate if he ever got injured. Still, it was over in a few moments, Nate having left his mind as a potential suitor after his tantrum in the street.
"I'm...g-glad you're alright. Um...do...do you th-think..." He glanced around at the patrons of the bar. Perhaps it was just his paranoia, but the night was growing dark and he knew he seemed weak and foreign; a good target for many things. "..You c-could walk with me back to Zephs..?"
