There’s a slight chuckle that leaves Sunjata at the sternness of Nate’s voice. “Mm, okay, but if I sit on you as a bat at least the others will leave you alone.” He tries to offer as a different option, before he can’t help the slight smirk that crosses his face with it. But the conversation shifts, to a joke that Sunjata hasn’t seen through – perhaps because he’s too focused on ensuring the Ascended is okay versus the toying of words – perhaps because he’s just that dense.
Either way, his hand slips from Nate’s hair to his jaw, running his thumb along the sharp cheekbone he finds there, amusement gleaming in his steel gaze that shifts to something of a hint of surprise flashing before it’s gone and he’s offering a slightly crooked grin back toward Nate. It doesn’t last, not as he’s pressing in rather hard and Sunjata’s nose brushes against Nate’s, though he’s not complaining. He gives back with just as much force as given, if only to prove to Nate that he’s as in this moment as the Ascended is.
But the kiss breaks and Nate’s forehead rests against his own, and Sunjata finds himself searching Nate’s gaze. “I think I want to do whatever you want to.” He murmurs, lifting his head slightly to bump his nose against the other man’s with a small crooked smile crossing his face before some sort of feigned dramatics comes over his accented tone. “Consider me at your mercy.” He flashes a wink before settling and lacing his arms around Nate’s middle, locking him in close.
