With a boost from the encantado, Seren broke the surface and breathed deep the sweet air. There was a wide grin on her face, and pearly laughter spilled freely from her as she impulsively hugged the dolphin. She did it, they found a shell, even bluer than one she had picked up in a game with a young boy just the other day. This one had Tobbe it, and the couldn't wait to show off her find.
"Remi! Remi I found one, it really was under the sea!" She called and waved at the prone form on the beach long before she was actually within hearing distance, too excited over the success to wait. By the time the water grew more shallow and the could make her own way back to the beach, Seren released the fin and patted the pink animal thoroughly, scattering happy kisses over the rubbery hide. Her gratitude towards the animal knew no bounds, and it painted her that she had nothing to give back for this adventure. "I will never forget you" she swore in a fervent whisper, before reluctantly parting with the dolphin.
Wading up from the water, she looked every bit like a drenched kitten, and there was a wide cheshire grin on her lips where she stood dripping over Remi.
"Wake up sleepy, and look what I found!" she said, holding out the shell so he could admire it.
