His hands begin to loosen the knot at the base of her neck, and it begins to melt her as the tension leaves her body – head dropping a bit lower, occasionally a soft hiss as his hands roam over a particularly sore space, but ultimately a soft hum manages to leave her as she feels the results of it begin to work, as blood flow begins to run through her and relieve her of her worries and the weight of the day along her shoulders.
His story does wonders to distract her mind away from it as well – using the time to try and imagine Australia. “Oh. Australia.” She comments at first, ensuring she gets the pronunciation right before falling silent again, hearing the shaky breath he starts with before his voice returns strong and clear. As he explains it, she focuses on trying to imagine it – drawing some parallels to what she’d heard of the Dragon’s Throat from Helovia. But the mention of a farm has her nodding, a small smile crossing her face.
And then, when his words come to a stop as he mentions his friends and family he misses – her hands leaving her legs to run along his own within the bath, a light squeeze of support and understanding sent through the attuned bond. But at least here they had each other, and she tilts her head to look at him over her shoulder, eyes bright in comparison. “It makes sense that it would be hard.” She says quietly, before her lips are quirking into a small smile. “If it helps, all this… Technology around here doesn’t make sense to me. I grew up in worlds with magic and gods. I suppose that makes us rather opposites, hm?” She leans back into the hands, tilting her head just enough to try and press a kiss to the fingertips at her shoulder.
