He wondered at what would happen, how would he be judged, scrutinised, by those who also loved her, who sought to protect and defend her from any harm, who only wished the best for her. Would he be considered the best?
Would Kia cling to their judgement of him, should it be negative?

"It sounds awesome, and similar to the work I was doing before the portal snatched me up. I think I'd be keen to be a part of it. What sorts of creatures have you observed so far? Do you literally hunt them, kill them?"
