Chulane took the scolding from the healer without much surprise, honestly. He had expected the boy to reject the healing, and almost wished that he himself held the gift of healing in his hands like the Abandoned do, so he could wipe away the hurts, the bruises, the cuts and the emotional damage too. Alas, he was simply left to do whatever he could with mere mortal hands and wiles.

When the boy emerged not long after, Chulane looked him over, glad that the smell of the boy was greatly improved, at least. While having a shower and letting the days' (weeks'/months') worth of dirt and pain wash down the drain was a nice thought, grief was never that easy. Chulane gestured down the hallway at a room whose door was open, the edge of the chair with his coat slung over the back visible.

"Your room's that way, unless you wanna eat in the common room." He said, his tone still that strong, firm volume, not allowing any room to wiggle. He didn't respond to Korbin's jab, didn't expect a thanks, didn't need one - he was here because he cared, as much as the boy was repulsed by such a thought. The choice as to where they would go within the lodge was now placed in Korbin's hands - but the boy would eat.
