The youth eventually slowed down, twisting along the colors, stare heightening, widening, as she gazed in wonder beyond the hues. She hadn’t noticed the coiling heat of the geysers until now, so perhaps it’d been wise (for once), to go gallivanting across the water’s surface in bare feet. Were she someone of scientific, scholarly platitudes, she might have already known the circumstances surrounding the rainbows’ existence – unfortunately, the youth had long since been bent towards more ferocious inclinations. Nonetheless, her mind spiraled and consumed, pondered to the best of its abilities, crouching down by the embankment, tempted to reach a hand out, a finger, to touch the realm of heat. Fangorn’s grumbles, clearly understanding the enticement, provided adequate warning, and so the youth was forced to pout, furrowing her brows.The other woman seemed prompted by the entire spectacle too, though didn’t enact the same bombardments around the pool – and her gaze lifted back across the tangible fragments and filaments, filling in the void of silence. A loud holler ensued, in the midst of battle it would’ve been a howl; here it was speculation and not much more. “Do you know what it is?”
