Remi hadn’t known what Phoebe had been planning. He was merely here to check up on his friend. He hadn’t made any headway with finding a suitor for her (he was starting to think he’d likely have to put up a notice on the bulletin board to try and assemble a cast to go through), but in the meantime he wanted to ensure that Phoebe hadn’t somehow been further cursed or given additional obligations to carry out by Frey.

It was strange that Phoebe had decided to live in the settlement rather than the domiciles, but then again given that Remi spent most nights sleeping in his shop perhaps it wasn’t that out of the ordinary. Knocking gently on her door (having learned where she lived during their brief ‘conversation’ while he was as hawk), Remi waited. Hearing some noises from within, his brows furrowed.

”Phoebe?” Remi called gently, trying the doorknob. If it opened, he’d poke his head inside and call her name again.
