your battle-worn tongue doesn't say the truth anymore
that you are ruined
Rexanna, too, had decided to follow a similar approach as Phoebe, having made a makeshift home in the settlement that she could fix up to use as her workspace. Of what, she hadn’t entirely decided on or how to go about it, but she remained with a brief idea of a workspace and a house. It was during that time where she had trudged through the snow to head toward her own place when she noticed a sort of commotion coming from one of the places on the street. And briefly, she thought she spotted Remi knocking on a door.

Curiosity got the best of her, and she edged closer toward the house, not knowing who’s it was as it certainly wasn’t Remi’s as she spotted the man knocking on the door and calling out a name, then trying a hand at the doorknob. “Remi!” She announced, her voice sultry and sweet as she rearranged the quill and paper in her hands to the crook in her arm. She looked to the door, eyebrows raised as if to ask who lived here and how she could help – knowing that Remi would understand it for the most part, her silence being an easy way to cope rather than flirting with the world.

Whether or not Remi went inside, she’d remain outside. She was polite in that regard, if Remi was this person’s friend, and Rexanna hadn’t met them before, it would be awkward for a stranger to make her own way in. So she waited, the quill and paper bundle clutched to her chest as she looked to the house.
AND YOU WONDER WHY HE LETS YOU — THE BUTCHER
TOUCH HIM — THE SUN
