Olavi returned the greeting, though his eyes were hard as he looked at Maru, making sure there wouldn't be another attempt to break into his mind. It was hard to explain, just why he didn't care for it, but anyone's voice other than Nerissa's in his head felt wrong, violating.
Admittedly, he did feel quite frustrated when Maru smiled at his words. Olavi had never really been one for weaponized jibes or intense conversation and when it came to arguing with Maru's dignified intellect, he knew he was going to be outmatched. His tail swishing faster on the ocean floor, sand beat up in a little cloud underneath him. "...All are welcome, huh? So I could come in, sleep in your bed, eat your shit and touch everything and that'd just be fine?" Honestly, as much as that sounded stupid, it would be quite good for a heist.
