While he’d missed anything previously, it does start to wake him up as soon as there’s that slight sound of someone sitting on the floor beside his bed. It’s not enough to wake him fully, but impact a featherlight dream he clings to, rolling over in his sleep with his face at peace despite what’s happened while he was out and unaware.
