That he might die for his foolishness seemed utterly irrelevant, so brash was his want for his husband.
Climbing the final set of stairs and bursting into the darkness, Remi would immediately take flight if he wasn't hindered. Still entirely aflame, he'd be a target for the monsters as much as for Ronin. But height, if not fire, had always kept him safe before.
