KORBIN
And round about his home the glory
That blushed and bloomed,
That blushed and bloomed,
It was too warm. The first thing he did after stepping through the portal was to peel off layers of clothing, but it was not enough. Korbin kept unfastening buttons even as he stepped through the door to the bar, eyes darting around quickly to make sure he didn't run into any... eh... familiar faces. The room was too warm, as was the air in the whole entire region, and it was only with reluctance that he braved the portal to come here.
After negotiating food and lodging for a time, and having his luggage brought to the room, he looked about the room. The scent of alcohol made his skin itch with a craving he hadn't felt before. Doing his best to ignore it, he picked a table and strolled casually towards it with quiet ease. There was a young man seated there already, looking like he was trying to drown himself.
"Mind if I sit?" he asked, in a quiet, deep voice. Korbin didn't smile, but there was something easy about the way he carried himself all the same, like he was very much at home in this room, in this place, in his own skin (it was all a lie).

Is but a dim-remembered story
Of the old time entombed.
Of the old time entombed.
