It’s soothed, like the feathers that try to flicker along his shoulders, with the soft kisses pressed to his head.
Barely is also an agreement, but Sunjata chooses to simply let the muscles feather in his jaw as he focuses on what comes next – because it’s the last thing he’s expecting. Nate might feel the shift of Sunjata’s face, the brows that furrow together a small amount. He fights another wave of nausea, pulling back to let tired steel eyes focus on Nate’s face, searching for that single blue eye. “What did you do, Nate?”
