But then the homes come into view, and he focuses his attention ahead, listening as she mentions that it’s nice to be out in this. “Rain to me is… Refreshing, I guess. Aside from reminding me of home. It’s able to just wash away all of the shit and let something else grow in its place.” A rise and fall of his shoulders, having never been one for poetics or pretty words. He hopes what he means gets across.
