Well, there's another reason to feel stupid about his earlier suspicion, to try and move past it quickly. "Think we need a little more than check ups." The further the conversation shifted from him, the more Nate relaxed, easing into his work with a kind of ease that can only come from fucking something up enough to know how to do every bit of it right. "Sounds like a lonely way to grow up."
