Phoebe was no stranger to this sort of weather. Winter came and went every year in Northwind and one simply learned to cope. Besides, in the winter, there were still things to be done that one could only accomplish in the dead cold of the season. Mostly barks and roots, things that were hardy and could survive such drastic temperatures, but they still had uses. That was what Phoebe was out in the woodlands doing, scavenging for supplies that could help her practice. And maybe Remi too if she saw something she thought he could make use of. But as she rounded a bend she stopped in surprise to find a man inspecting a home out in the middle of the woods. How…odd. She certainly didn’t recognize him. It made her wonder if he was okay…and despite how stupid it was for her to do so, she decided to check. ”Hello, sir! I didn’t expect to see anyone else out here today!” she said brightly, with her signature pretty smile. Her cheeks and nose were red with cold, but she looked as pleased as could be.
