There are no promises given – and whether it’s because Sunjata realizes his track record, or figures that Deimos wouldn’t believe him even if he did promise, is hard to say. But they put that past them, a nod given to the fact that Deimos doesn’t need anything, an understanding given as he lifts the glass to his lips again and lets his gaze leave the General to focus on Haai from where she sits by his seat.
