Of course, Sunjata doesn’t know this man, doesn’t know that Finn has heard of him. It wouldn’t come as much of a surprise, that small part in the back of Sunjata’s mind imagining that his name pops up in a lot of random conversations – rarely anything good, but a conversation regardless. Still, the Arbiter is amused infinitely at the way Finn tries to recover, sipping from his own whiskey before his name is offered.
“A pleasure.” He offers, tilting his glass a small amount toward Finn, the grin spread along his face still sharp, still pointed with the hint of sharp pointed fangs of his cobra shift behind it. But there’s a nod given to Finn with the thanks, a rise and fall of tattooed shoulders. “Try to keep an eye on it while you’re here. Again, people’ll try to take advantage of someone that drifts off asleep.” A dark brow raises, before he’s turning his gaze away as Haai returns to his side, having done her rounds. The griffin sits, wings tucked in tight, emerald eyes boring into Finn while Sunjata’s are away. “You don’t sound like you’re from around here. Just passing through?” His attention flickers back toward Finn, toward the papers briefly, then to the other’s face again.
