Finn doesn’t meet his gaze when the question is aired, which only rises a few more of those figurative hackles along Sunjata’s spine. His gaze drops to the notes which have barely started, to the glass that’s nearly empty when Finn begins to speak of what he meant. And while it still made sense, there was a part of it that would always seem to rub wrong, he imagines.
“Mmm, that’s fair. I'll give you that.” He hums, tipping back the rest of his own drink, before setting the empty glass on the table and shifting in his seat to brace both tattooed arms along the top of the table, letting himself get a bit more level with Finn. “Nobody’s going to pickpocket me unless they’re looking to spend a night in a cold dark room.” That playful grin spreads along Sunjata’s face, teeth pointed a bit sharper now. “Let me know if someone targets you, though.” He pulls away from the table with a wink, going to stand and set his glass back at the bar – ordering yet another whiskey to be sent toward Finn’s table and waiting to see if he gets a response.
