Sunjata, still hissing under his breath while he digs his hole, manages to get to the pipe as well by sheer dumb luck. Deimos’ comment is met with a pulse of gratitude – if not a small amount of pain leaking over as well – before he shakes his fuzzy head. Thanks. He offers, a bit late, to the help of the ants dispersing and only fire remaining in their wake.
Ronin’s hole is empty now too, and the Star is quite successful in getting his own hole dug down to the small pipe that should lead the water out to less populated areas. At the mention of any further along? Sunjata sits back, pulls away from his drain and pushes over a makeshift metal cap into place over the dug hole with a big dark paw – a way to prevent debris from getting sucked into the hole and blocking it. I think this should do. There’s a couple metal caps over here to place on top of them but that should do it. He manages, though his tone is weary – he stands to go view Ronin’s drain and then Deimos’ before nodding along to confirm his comments.
Hopefully it works. He snorts, letting his steel gaze flicker over his company as he settles, wrapping his tail around himself from where he sits. Thanks for the help, though. He offers when they’re all finished.
