Harper isn’t fooling anyone, not really. Sunjata can see the tension of surprise, the way the man seems to debate turning the guitar into a weapon. Sunjata was like that, early on. But now he has little to worry about, so many shifts at his disposal that it seems relatively pointless to try and use fists and objects when he could simply use the daggers that always sat at his hips, or claws.

But he remains settled in the windowsill, moving to prop one leg up in the window and his back against the other, tilting the burn scarred shoulder toward Harper as he nods to the thanks, a show of ‘you’re welcome’ before his steel gaze flickers over Harper once more. “Oh? What kind of worries?” Comes the easier question, ones that seemed small enough that a god needn’t be present, yet perhaps all Harper needed was an ear for advice. “I live in those homes over there.” He nods his head toward the direction of the cluster of homes, before a fanged smile settles on his face.

I saw her recently, I just come by to watch the sunsets mostly.” An easy shrug granted to that, a constant prayer of thanks on those nights he sat there and watched the storms and clouds roll by. But enough about him, his gaze finds Harper again, gesturing to another seat should Harper wish to stay and allude to the struggles he had.

Sunjata speaks with an Australian accent and has a passive magic that makes him produce a subtle scent that matches exactly to whatever those around him most desire him to smell like.
