”This time? Wine,” Neron drawls, a fanged smile on his lips. It’s always been his preferred drink, and Halo is pretty good at making it, though it’s almost always mulled. Not today, though - the Ascended sinks down onto the sofa next to Sunjata, propping one leg up so he can uncork the bottle and pour a deep, dark liquid into the two glasses. Setting the bottle down, he hands one glass to Jata and relaxes into the cushions, stretching an arm across the back of the couch.

”Well, we had a bumpy start, but I’m glad we could come to an agreement,” he says with a rich laugh, raising his glass in a toast and taking a slow sip from it. ”Did you just come up to Halo to check on this place, then? Or have you got other errands to run?” Not that he’s sure Sunjata is in any state to run errands.
