They navigated the alleys, the walkways, before finally making it to where the weather hit them full on. It wasn't as bad as before, but still pretty wild - shifting to his eagle form wouldn't do, and his leopard form would just want to hide somewhere high up and dark and dry. For once, his human form was the best one to face the elements of this world, to weather the brief intermission of the storm, the wind, the spattering of rain. Chuy crossed his arms across his chest against it, feeling the warmth from the sunburn, but also feeling better too."Oh, I'll be back," he said with a sure grin, a confidence in his words, almost a swagger to his step as the thought of venturing here again in good company and excellent weather, for a date promised what felt like eons ago. "Thanks, Milo. If you ever do make it through a portal, come find me." And without further hesitation, he waved a small goodbye and stepped on through, to what was home, for now.
