He falls for those tricks easily – Zeph knows this, Milo knows this, but does it stop anything? Of course not. The boy’s far more built for working and running than he is for smarts. Still, he listens like a water starved fish as Zeph begins to explain, his head cocking to the side – exaggerated only because of the alcohol coursing through his system.
“Oooh.” Milo begins, legs knocking off the table to land with a thump on the floor, moving to lean forward toward Zeph to search his face for the lie. He can’t find one, though, and that amuses him fully, fills him with excitement and anticipation of what came next. “Yeah. Yeah! Yeah, definitely.” He stumbles over his words, flashing a bright grin toward Zeph. “I can’ do that.” The grin remains, brown eyes wide as he focuses on the older man.
“Just… a… Tell me where ya want me, ‘n I’ll be there.”
