Remi's luxuriously soft curls invited more than the occasional ruffle from those he considered friends, but Sam certainly wasn't that, and as the ascended slowly retrieved his fingers, Remi shivered at the touch of them on the back of his neck before Sam's hand was withdrawn completely.
