Finn fixes Cian with a look, only for a moment, but it’s one that suggests that he is tired of consistently stumbling into the other man’s verbal traps. If Cian is looking - and let’s be honest, he probably isn’t - he will see Finn’s pupils dilate to pinpricks, see the way his eyes widen, the way his body begins to tremble. He nearly snatches the spectacles back away from his face, expression pained, scrunching his eyes firmly shut again. ”I can’t,” he says, his voice cracking.
