The landshark attack was swift and brutal. It took a chunk out of Delphia's leg before the group had a chance to react. However, Alina was already moving by the time Ianto made his suggestion. Leaping into the air she pumped her wings, trying to fly straight up and not let the sandstorm buffet her from side to side.
As she was leaving the ground, though, she employed her limited glamour. It wasn't much, but she tried to make a loud thumping sound as far away from the group as possible in an attempt to draw the landshark away at least a little and maybe distract it from another attack.
Alina uses her glamour to try and make a loud thumping sound on the ground five feet from the group to try and draw the landshark's attention and then flies straight up.
