Given the effort it takes to both dig and reinforces, three mastered magics working all at once, and sending one towards Amalia, Deimos is only able to move the tunnel forward 5ft. Beneath the ground a good distance already, the unicorns on the surface cannot hear Zuriel. Wessex, being cautious now, only moves them forward 15 additional feet.
It doesn't seem to matter, for asAmalia uses Deimos' magic to push up and out, the tunnel collapses behind her. A rock hurtled down towards Wessex, but here in the dark her ascended speed is more than enough to allow her to move out of the way.
