Standing in the sunlight laughing, Hiding behind a rainbow's wall
A physician before you're anything else, your fingertips echo on Finn's side as you slowly edge him away from the stairs. It's a gentle correction, soft enough even for the bruised ribs he might have. You know well the want to burrow and hide away from the world after experiencing whatever is that Finn has, but cleanliness won't just make him feel better. It will help keep him better.

You give him a look from your place under his shoulder as you feel him want to brace, the gesture short-lived. "It isn't like I've not seen you naked before." You chuckle under your breath, thinking his pause having something to do with realizing what the shower will entail. "But I was going to give you a towel anyway." You add, and had there not been signs of unseen wounds beneath his clothing, you'd have nudged him playfully for his worry.

"Is that why you don't go to the Falling, either?" You've both sort of casually mentioned a dislike of water in the past, and while you're always eager to learn more about this strange friend of yours, it feels unfair to pry into his infection-ridden mind. "No barrels here, I promise." You all but whisper, swallowing hard and wondering just what sort of hell made Finn into the man he was today.

"They do, yeah. My parents learned about it from some Outlanders they studied.  We tried to do it here, but it didn't work as well. But we burned some juniper berries and found a tree that had sap in it. It made loud popping sounds when burned." You remember all of this with a smile that drastically contrasts the cold shiver of Finn's own recollections. "Here." Holding out a towel, you turn your back. "Clothes off, and you can cover yourself with that. Let me know when you're done." It's true that you've seen Finn naked, but the last thing you want is for any discomfort he might feel to settle into the bones of his own home.
