I’m quite alright, thank you. Let’s keep the hunting-me-down to a minimum until I know you aren’t going to bite a chunk out of me. In a bad way.”
Grinning over his shoulder, he dutifully tugs Remi across the ice, and it’s with a flamboyant swing that he propels him up and onto the snowbank. ”I was hoping you would say that,” he murmurs, trekking up behind him and letting the blades on his feet melt into snow boots. They could stay here endlessly, and Ronin would be lying if he wasn’t tempted. Didn’t Safrin warn something about that? He can’t remember.
