There was something beyond the Sea of Glass that called to Loren. Frowning, he rubbed his temples as he tried to remember it. Eventually, a smile spread across his lips. The tunnel to the Climb. He had to go there.
So he slipped his minders, Astra included, and made his way out towards the Tundra. Turning off the road, he moved towards the distant sheets of ice. However, something caught his attention at the edge of his peripheral vision.
It was Neron, slipping and sliding along the ice. The Firebrand grinned. "Brother!" he called. "Brother, you're flying!" Beginning to make his way towards his twin, the healer glanced at the Hailstorm's destination. Then Loren did a double take.
Eyes widening, he shifted to stare at the nest with an egg around it. Looking around, he didn't see any sign of parents or predators. But he did see the fracturing ice. "Noooo. No no no," he moaned, and scrambled forward, heedless of his own safety. He slid onto the ice.
As he did, he tried to reach out with his magic. If he could he'd strengthen the ice, seal it back together or at least halt its spread enough to rescue the poor little eggy.
Loren tries to make his way towards the egg. As he does, he attempts to strengthen the ice with his water magic.
