Sweat already beads up on Sera’s skin as well, silently cursing herself for not wearing a different pair of pants beneath the ones made for Halo. But she’ll have to deal, especially while they continue to walk, while Sera wonders whether or not it would be too brazen to strip down into nearly nothing. The splashing of lava sends that thought scurrying back, however, not wanting to get that anywhere near certain sensitive places.
“I can do that.” She chimes, flashing Tobi a grin that suggests she absolutely could, even if all she had was her quick thinking to try and ensure it was true. But the caves are dark and she's realized she hasn’t brought anything as well to be prepared, but this is where her mind comes in. “Ah, I have an idea, don’t go anywhere.” She chimes, a wide grin sent Tobi’s way, before she’s reaching up to grab a root from the outside of the cave entrance, wrapping a few more around it to ensure its sturdiness, and she opens her little makeshift pack for the scarf she’d had wrapped around her neck to tie it to the end like a club.
And once that’s made, she finds a little smoking pit of heat, a small yellow glow, and dips the edge of the handmade torch into it until the scarf lights up. She quickly makes her way back to Tobi, an almost overconfident grin crossing her face. “At least it wasn’t my favorite scarf.” And at least now, the light would illuminate the inside of the cave system.
