There is a flush to your cheeks, and though your eyes are dark naturally, the kindness in them wavers for a moment as something more predatory takes over. Bernese mountain dogs, like you, are gentle by nature. But like you, they are not cowardly. They'll not allow members of their pack to be so thoroughly abused. There is a very un-October snarl on your lips as you stare hard at Finn, as if your glare might somehow absolve him of Cian's threats.
