Still Remi is far more predatory than either Shield or Star, and she contents herself with glaring playfully affectionate daggers at his massive back as they continue on towards the water, her senses still alert for sign of danger.
Fortunately the tigers do not seem interested in tangling with a manticore again. Up the face of the cliff they climb, and now Amalia shifts entirely, the leopardess well suited to navigating rocky faces and uneven terrain. The sound of the waterfall is compelling, and Amalia doesn't need Ronin's encouragement to bound on after Remi, curious to see what they might find and eager to stop any further conflict before it might arise.
