His gaze sharpened, because he wanted to see, wanted to know, wanted to reach for something out there in the midst and mist. A shudder rippled and curled through him, and his mind honed, called for an ability he’d never had in Helovia – because then he might’ve been able to blow dragons away, away, away, from their avaricious grasping wake.
