Are your tactics clever? Has bucking the clear choices pushed you farther ahead, or impossibly far from your goal? Without any discernable landmarks around you, it's near impossible to know. How long have you walked (or in the case of some of you, done nothing at all)?

The left path reveals a twisted grove of ironwood trees in the dense fog. If they are rooted into the earth you have no way of knowing, seeing only their twisted trunks rising from the white like disobedient gray fingers. Will you go through, or around?

The right path begins to erode beneath your feet and to the right of you there is a deep chasm threatening to swallow you into its wide and silent jaws should you slip on the rubble beneath your feet. Will you continue, or stray to the left and onto more firm ground?

Off the beaten trail, the world is stark and bright and cold. To the right of you there are warm winds, to the left, sheer ice. What do you do?

It's hard to know which way you've gone, though ahead you think you spy a copse of trees in the mist. The sound of the bird—or the scream—is gone. Does that mean you're too late? Or that you should hurry? What do you do.

The mist does not respond to your mental attempts to control or persuade it to help you. Instead it grows thicker around you, or perhaps it was always that what. What do you do? The left and right paths are still open to you.

Noise hums in the fog. You see flecks of dust? colour? static? seem to overlay everything as you move away from the paths. What do you do?
