Apparently she will not be given as much time as she would have liked. Before she has a chance to agree or react (though her brow does furrow at the thought of Nate and Sunjata trying to aid the Voice) the door bursts open once again, and the cavalry storms in.
Amalia rises from her chair, turning back to the Warden, Star, and Lullaby as they enter the room, flaking her and leaving her in a rather uncomfortable position. The anger that the three feel is palpable - literally in the case of the two which whom Amalia shares an Attuned bond - and the girl can feel her hackles raising, fur feathering into scales over her shoulders as thorny holly blooms within her braid.
It's Ronin's outburst that surprises her most, Amalia's eyes first widening and then narrowing in a flash of anger. "Enough, Ronin," she snaps automatically, her ears flicking back on her skull in irritation as she inhales a deep breath. "This isn't helping."
Back to Loren, her expression softening, though the lines around her eyes remain deep and pained. "I agree that it isn't safe to give the metal to the Voice. But we have to do something, and fighting among ourselves won't help. If there's another cure - if the lilies would work for the Ascended - then we should try that first. Meanwhile, we should take the metal to someone who can actually tell us what it does, and what the Voice could do with it. Like Tanau. Or... Rae."
