"Mm. I suppose you're right about that." Morgan laughed lightly, nodded. Neron was different to her in many ways, but one of the most pronounced was his way of doing things with added drama and steps wherever he could, while Morgan liked to keep things simple and direct whenever possible. She couldn't say she hated his way of doing things, though; when it wasn't delaying anything important, it could be entertaining.

It seemed he was at least somewhat aware of what was going on; she nodded, confirming Loren's involvement. "Yes, Loren gave the Voice the item she used to make the cure. However..." Morgan sighed, rubbed the back of her neck as she considered how to frame everything that had happened to Neron; she didn't want to be unfair to his brother, but she didn't want to cushion the truth either. "I didn't know he had it this whole time, because he didn't tell me of it. I, Remi and Ronin had to demand he take it to the Voice...and Amalia was there, asking him to take it to the Old Gods as well. Where presumably they would make sure the Ascended would not be able to use it - and it seemed he was considering that option."

She was sure that Neron knew what that meant; that he might have been left behind, sick and weak, while others had the chance to improve. "...I'm going to speak with him, but I am unsure about his position on the council going forwards."
