Only when her fingers released the stem, the petals, did a segment of relief amble through her. “We did it.” Her grin widened, her feral smile exposed, before she began to look around elsewhere, for anything else that moved, inspired, or invoked her. “I’m going to stick here for a little bit and explore.” He’d be welcome to do the same.
