The attempt to heal himself went pitifully. Nothing changed and he let out a groan of annoyance, clearly not exactly feeling the best. He'd be okay though, he could continue on no problem. Making no attempt to heal himself once more, Oliver instead focused on the task at hand. Wessex had a similar feeling to Oliver: whatever was ahead was bad news. "I wish there was an easier way to figure out what it was without, you know, just seeing it for ourselves." Oliver knew how risky it could be and was worried about what could be ahead of them.
Pushing away his worries, he took heed of Wessex's words. He'd move on forward, using his magic combined to tunnel forward at a nice, slow pace. He wouldn't rush things, no, instead he'd try his best to stay calm and careful, hoping that the sticks would light the way ahead of them as they moved.
Oliver combines Telekinesis and Earth magic to help with tunneling!!!
Following in Wessex's lead, Oliver tries to move slowly and carefully. He will try to not dig out too much at once, prepared to stop should something appear.
And of course, he's still holding onto those sticks!
