Oliver's words rang in Loren's mind. Easy, he responded. Don't panic. No point in worrying until we have something to worry about. It could be a friendly presence. However, as the tunnel began shaking around them, he grimaced.

Dismissing his moles, he spoke in as quiet a tone as he could that would still carry to Wessex and Oliver up ahead. "Retreat. Massive cavern to get around and we alerted the presence. I don't want to be down here when it finds us."

With that, he pushed out with his telekinesis, trying to hold off the collapsing of the walls or the entrance of whatever was coming their way even as he started making his way out of the tunnel they'd formed. Something seemed to respond within him and his magic surged through him, stronger for a brief moment.

Loren dismisses his moles. He recommends the group leave and starts to leave himself. As he does, he uses his telekinesis to try and shore up the walls and prevent anything from breaking through them.
