I don’t…” He sighs, wanting nothing more than to shrug his shoulders, but he refrains if only to not disturb the child. “I went an entire fifteen years of swearing off ever having kids because of what I had to deal with.” Until he’d agreed to that doomed marriage with Phoebe. And even then, it wasn’t what he wanted. He was adamant about it.
