And then out of the darkness he bared his teeth and her smile spread, her hands going up in the air for the second time that night, feet stopping in front of the smuggler. ”It's a deal, captain.” Something turned, and instead of alarm at the man's threat, she felt a thrill. It would fade, and her mind would start racing again before the night was through.
