It is a very unlikely trio of allies for Amalia, at least, but there's a strange sort of satisfaction in knowing that they are all proven to be strong and competent. If not a little bit aggressive, but that can hardly be helped. Stinging pain blooms through her awareness as scales slice into her skin, her own scales glittering into being over her arms and neck in an attempt to add defense.
Amalia draws Nova and her shield at the same time she answers the General's question. I'm okay. You? The mental response comes through the Attuned bond as easily as breathing, Deimos fitting against her mind with a startling familiarity she so desperately missed. Now is not the time for the Shield to dwell on what role the Sword plays in her life, on this unexpected reunion and what it will bring, but she can't help a pulse of gratitude, of concern, of apology and remorse and everything else she feels. Of no matter what, I have your back. Of I still trust you; please trust me, too.
"Cover me!" the girl cries aloud, great wings pulsing as she lifts off from the platform and flies toward the beast, Nova and the shield held at ready to strike if she is struck. Her goal is to distract the creature from the others, to give them a chance to regroup or plan, and perhaps to figure out what course would be best to save the most lives. "Guardian! We were sent by Rae and Vi to find a cure. Let us go in peace; we mean you no ill."

Amalia attempts to fly around the leviathan and distract it from the others. She is trying to reason with it (again), and will retaliate with Nova only if she's attacked.
Type: Light
Nova (upgraded) | A beautifully slender sword perfectly crafted for Amalia. The cross-guard is carved from luxere antlers (These antlers glow a soft red despite being detached from the luxere. They provide constant light and protect anyone who holds them during LongNight), imbued with minor healing abilities (upgraded level). The sword will never deal a killing blow, leaving an enemy on 1HP.
Type: Dark
An ornate titanium shield covered in star sigils. When (abandoned) magic is cast at this device, it can store the power and reuse it as controlled by the wielder. (Made by Remi)
Beast Speaker | Can speak to rare creatures/companions/regular animals. Requires permission to "speak" on behalf of someone's companion. Regular animals speak in varying levels of coherence.
