Her wine-dunking tendencies run in her family - just ask Remi. "And volunteer or not, he looked like he thoroughly regretted his choice by the time you got out of the ring. It's good to see you at your best again. I say again but... I don't think I've ever seen out outside of some crisis." A tongue-in-cheek admission, but it's nonetheless true.
Setting the pastry down to enjoy more of the wine - she's more thirsty than hungry in this heat anyway - Vai's eyebrows almost disappear into her hair to learn that Sunjata will be leaving her in charge of the place again before too long. "Fuck off," she barks at him, leaning over to smack him on the arm with the least bruises, though it's all good natured. "If you two hadn't just got married, I'd have a lot more to say on this matter," she informs him. "You had better bring me a present back from there. A good one."
With a quieter, softer smile, she settles back again in her seat. "Anything in particular you need me to keep an eye on while you're gone?"
