I came for your stories, I stayed for your beauty.
Atleast the strange man knew that he was speaking in riddles. "Don't you even worry about it!" The last thing Tenor wanted was for the man to try to explain himself further. Tenor knew better than that. Outlanders were never simple, they had been ripped from their lives and thrown into a new one. That much was the same for all of them... Though for Tenor, sometimes he wished that he was an Outlander. That he could wake up in a new world, living a new life.

The necklace was something that many people in the port would likely be after. Anything shiny was valuable, and anything valuable was made to be stolen. Tenor had seen countless thieves wander the port - it wasn't the merman's duty to warn their targets though. "Better protect it with your life then."

Tenor could feel himself growing bored. The strange man was a curiosity - but Tenor knew he wouldn't discover much more from him right now. Outlander's were strange like that. Their minds filled with memories from their past, but they seemed to be locked away like a pearl in an oyster. Not quite ready to be harvested. "Where will you go next?" The world is open to your kind. Tenor eyed the mans legs. One day he would be able to see the things he could see. One day.
