Seven is very content with the developments, as well, kneading at thick panther fur and eventually sprawling herself along the Flood's broad shoulders, her fluffy tail tickling at his chin.

Jack is thoroughly disgusted by the display, hiding it behind another generous swig of his drink, and he raises an eyebrow to hear the story about Jata and the stray cats. "You're soft as shit on the inside, ain't you?" he remarks, the hint of a smirk over the rim of his glass.
"Mm, she will be," he confirms. "Sear cats have a bit of pregonition, well as speech. She can predict storms, if she's in the mood."
