Tearing her attention away from the incomprehensible structure, the Shield does her utmost to collect her wayward thoughts, rubbing at her wrist and trying not to bite her lip. "It is beautiful," Amalia agrees, "And... big. Bigger than I thought it would be." Bigger than she thought anything would be, and she has only seen a sliver of the capital so far.
The question on her arrival forces Amalia to remember why she's here, that there is work to do. Straightening once again, the girl clears her throat. "Ah- yes. I... Vi sent me. To help the Order in the fight against the Ascended." Not sure whether to offer her hand or bow, Amalia settles on doing neither, instead pressing her fingers against her thighs. "I'm Amalia Chandrakant. Vi's, um.... demigod." It's the first time she's said the word aloud, and it's a wonder she doesn't trip over the title given how heavy her tongue suddenly feels.
