From being an Abandoned who had rarely left the Hollowed Grounds, to embracing the call of adventure, to dying and being reborn first as an Ascended and then as an Ancient, Maea has gone through quite the amount of changes in her life. One thing remains common, though, in her attempts to find out just where she belongs; she’s always had a craving for knowledge which has brought her to so many places and to meet so many people here in Caido. We can’t wait to see what else is in store for her!
Congratulations, Maea!

Court of the Fallen was created in October of 2018 by Odd, Honey, and Crooked.
Skinning and hosting by the epically talented Kaons, and functionality fanciness by the coding magic of Neowulf. If you ever see either of them around, make sure to show them some love!
A small, almost hinting toward sad, smile crossed Rexanna’s features when Phoebe spoke next. “It doesn’t have to be a physical attraction, perhaps you find the way their mind works to be sexy enough.” She offered as an alternative with a light shrug. But she understood – she had been young once and believed in love at first sight, had believed that whoever was attractive and found her attractive too would be a gift from the gods. He would treat her right, and she’d treat him right – but life was unpredictable and horrible at times and she had suffered for her naivety.
Yet, the woman nodded to the girl as she spoke of seeing the good and the bad, looking down and away from her as she remembered how good of a person her husband had been to the rest of the world – yet to her he was entirely different. Luckily for her, Phoebe shifted her conversation over to her own relationship and lack there of that she nodded to. “You’re still young, sweetheart. There’s time.” She said, her tone honey dipped but almost motherly in nature. But as Phoebe questioned if Alistair had wanted more and she didn’t, well. That was something she thought about the first time she brought up the idea of what they were to each other.
“It’s all about understanding. Go in with low expectations and nobody can hurt you. It would hurt at first, but that just means it wasn’t meant to be.” She thought aloud, turning to look back at Phoebe with a quiet smile. “You put what you want on the table at the beginning so there’s nothing that can hurt you later on when it doesn’t work out.” She rolled her shoulders in a shrug, smiling gratefully at Phoebe as she handed her some plants while they walked by them. She stuffed them easily into one of her pockets of the pack she brought.
“Perhaps you’re trying too hard? Just let things be, you won’t go crazy trying to find someone to spend the rest of your life with. They’ll find their way to you.” She purred to the girl, flashing a quiet knowing smile. “Frey didn’t curse you in any way like they did me – I wouldn’t think you’re on a time crunch, dear.” She added with a quiet laugh.
